Wanted: "Weakness in Me" cover mp3

Hey all, my (younger) friend just sent me a video/lyrics to "Weakness in Me" - the Melissa Etheridge version of course. Notice, I said "younger" bud.

Ok, so I looked and the Purple Parrot tape has this on it, but all I've got is the cassette. Does anybody have the .mp3 so I can shoot a copy over to my friend and say "so there, ha"?

LOL. Yeah, I know Joan Armatrading did it. One thing I liked about IGs was that I was always getting introduced to new (to me) artists, like Ferron when she opened for 'em in '95.

I have a separate issue that may need to be thought out and posted in another thread somewhere. I have about 60 cassettes from when I used to trade via the email listerv back in '95 and '96. Years have gone by and I have a few CDs but never got into trading again.

Question is, what in the world do I do with all these cassettes? I'm sure many of us without fancy equipment or the inclination to fool with it are in the same boat. What have you guys done with your cassettes. Finally after 14 years, I *think* I can stand to part with them. Those are my thoughts. Thanks for listening and take care.

Well, some of us actually still have cassette decks! (not to mention -egads turntables). You just never know when that material will come in handy.

I have it somewhere! I have 3 kinds the original Joan Armatrading, Melissa Etheridge, and the Indigo Girls!

Though I recommend the Joan Armatrading Version myself! Sorry Girls! I just cannot get the other version! I have tried!
