For fans of Tegan and Sara!

I didn't really know where to put this, because they're kinda folk, and kinda rock, but I thought this would be the best spot.

I see from one of the fan sites that they're in the last stages of preparing a new album. I'm looking forward to it, because usually new album=tour, and they are really great live.

My gf and I were at a show last spring, at the Galaxy in St. Louis. The Galaxy is this huge warehouse-like place, and there weren't that many people up near the stage, so we got some really great photos. I was so close I actually had to back up to get them both in the same frame. Sorry for the grainy photos, I have a pretty crappy scanner...

Ooh neat a Tegan & Sara thread!!! I'm a new fan but I really dig them. My favorite song that I've heard so far is "Monday Monday Monday." I'd really love to hear more. Again, I'm hoping that big-city life will make records by indie and underground artists a little easier to come by. :)

New: The new album to be released is called SO JEALOUS. It will release in the US and Canada at the same time. Tentative date is September 14th.

I'm thinking tour can't be far behind...

Teagan and Sara are touring with Melissa Ferrick right now! :D Catch a show and you WILL NOT be disappointed!

So I saw T&S with Melissa Ferrick last Wednesday. They were really great. I didn't pay complete attention to their set because I was distracted by friends but they definitely caught my attention a few times. The song they opened with which was absolutely beautiful was new and not on the new CD so I have to wait to get that one. I bought their CD So Jealous and I love it a lot. The next show I go to I'm buying both their old CDs. Cool chicks they are.
