View Full Version : Could I get my own thread deleted?

Can I get my own thread deleted before someone else posts there? The reason is: I did something to the thread that I didn't intend, and now I'm stuck with it. Namely, I was playing around, and accidentally rated my own thread. That's tacky. So I'd like to repost the thread, but I can't delete it or remove the vote.

The thread in question is: "Finally! A bill to limit the harm done by the War on Drugs," under Activism.

Uhmm...you don't have to post in a thread to rate it. So...could you like, just pretend that someone else rated it?

This is an important thread. It doesn't need deletion. I rated it.

But is there a way to delete one's own thread?

Which is the more desirable scenerio:

"Meo, can you delete my thread?"

or

"Oh crap! Meo, I accidentally deleted my own thread! Can you get it back?"

;)

Logical enough. Actually I never meant to delete it permanently, just to repost it. I do think it's an important thread, or I wouldn't have started it.
