marked 'read' when not read at all?

MEO - KIWI noticed that sometimes posts are marked as 'read' when she hasn't read htem at all. The same happens to me often, as it often happened to me on the official IG site but never on the old Vortex. Is that a problem of vBulletin? I think it happens when you're logged on to the site for a long time but not doing anything there.

Yes, it is a problem with vB. It seems unread threads are really just new threads since your last visit.

It happens during a visit too. Too bad, but it's okay as vB is safe at least AND the site is looking fantastic. We'll just have to live with it. :)

I am having an opposite problem. I can't make posts look "read" even when I've visted them multiple times. Even when I close and re-open my browser?

I noticed my sent messages are automaticly marked as read.. did they or did they read this one... hmmm :???:

Messages that YOU have read are marked read. If you sent a message, then I hope you read it.
